For this GrandSlam we return to World Cafe Live to watch winning storytellers battle it out for the title of “Best Storyteller in Philadelphia”. Slam winners and audience favorites will strut their storytelling stuff.

Since his first First Person Arts StorySlam, Chris has been slinging stories that were instant favorites with FPA audiences. From tales of childhood fights, to fast food obsessions, to past career triumphs and missteps, story-lovers voted him “Audience Favorite” again and again.
He moved onto guest judging and then hosting FPA StorySlams and even now that he has moved OUT of Philadelphia, Chris comes back every now and again to host. Chris is true FPA family.
Betty Smithsonian (she/her), Winner of Best of Philly – Up and Coming Comedian 2019 and was once quoted in the New York Times as ‘free lance clown.’ She’s on stage regularly at Punchline and throughout the Philadelphia area. She is Co-founder of Bechdel Test Fest, Free Fringe Philly, The Flannel Chucks, Song in Her Ear and Nacho Mic.
