Steven Julius Fund for Emerging Artists

Established with a grant from the Steven Julius Foundation (Kay Unger Pitman, Max Pitman, and Sam Pitman, Trustees), this fund supports First Person Arts in artist training/development and underwrites performances by talented memoir and documentary artists in the early stages of their careers. Among the initiatives supported by this fund is First Person RAW, a showcase of new works at the annual First Person Festival that challenge traditional memoir and documentary forms.
