Future Best Self: A Writing Workshop Date: Wednesday evenings, March 14 – April 11 (5 week class) Time: 6:30-9:00pm Location: First Person Arts office, 1 S. Broad St. 17th Floor Price: $275, $220 for First Person Arts members Led by: Reb Rebele Who do you want to be when you grow up? Don’t worry if you are 15 or 50 – we are all still “growing up” in one way or another. This course aims to turn memoir on its head by focusing less on our past and more on our future. Using both reflective and prospective prompts, we will aim to write as clearly and compellingly about our future as we do about our past. By the end of the course, participants will be able to tell the story of how they will get from here, today, to their best possible futures. Click here for more information and to enroll. Hi Emily,
Thanks for your interest in the workshop. The workshop is $250 ($225 for First Person members).
Karina
Is it too late to register for the 2 day workshop? I just read where work needs to be submitted 3 weeks prior to class
It seems there are never any Saturday or Sunday workshops. Weeknights do not work for everyone (ok – me). Do you have any weekend workshops coming up?
I too was wondering if there were any weekend classes. Are they only on the weekday? I am very interested in signing up if classes could fit my schedule.
Thanks!
Hey, AMR, I’ll think of you the next time we plan a session. Thanks for your interest! K
Please let me know when the next storytelling workshop is. Thanks!
Hi Adrienne!
The next storytelling workshop is actually during our First Person Festival- Comedic Storytelling with Margot Leitman (Moth GrandSlam winner and Upright Citizens Brigade Teacher). Get all the info at http://ticketing.theatrealliance.org/tickets/eventDetails.aspx?id=20501&org=fp.
Thanks!
Karina
I’d love to take a workshop with FIRST PERSON. When do the new ones start after Thanksgiving?
DIANA FINEGOLD
Please offer more weekend classes, workshop, etc. Cannot do weeknights from an hour away in Phila suburb and then work an hour away in opposite direction early the next morning.
